Jill Stansbury, Executive Director, has six years of experience as a school administrator in Montessori and traditional independent schools. She is early childhood trained and early elementary certified by the American Montessori Society. She has ten years of classroom experience and has taught students in grades from preschool to high school. She has a bachelor’s degree in humanities from New College of South Florida and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in educational leadership at DePaul University. She enjoys writing, swing dancing and biking. This is her second year at ADM.
Quinn McAvoy, Lead Toddler Teacher, has twelve years of teaching experience, all of it here at ADM. Her bachelor’s degree is from St. Xavier University in early childhood education. She has an American Montessori Society certificate in infant and toddler education as well. She is Illinois state certified to teach students from birth through grade three with a special education endorsement. In her free time she enjoys crocheting and painting. She is the parent of a one year old.
Shelly Lane, Assistant Toddler Teacher, is Montessori paraprofessional certified through the Midwest Montessori Teacher Education Center. She has done early childhood coursework at Moraine Valley Community College and has eleven years of experience in Montessori education. Ten of those years have been at All Day Montessori. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her seven year old son.
Ula Davitt, Lead Children’s House Teacher, has been a teacher for eight years. Her early childhood Montessori certificate is from the Association Montessori Internationale. She has a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Home Economics from Vilnius State Pedagogical University in Lithuania. Additionally, she is certified in art education. In her spare time, she enjoys learning about real estate and investing. This is her first year at ADM.
Nickisa Wells, Assistant Children’s House Teacher, has thirteen years of experience and has worked at ADM for nine of those years. She has a high school diploma and has studied early childhood education at Chicago State University. She is the parent of three children.
